Dear Old German Couple on the Train,
The next time you hear something about the birth rate in Germany declining, please remember that it is your fault. Did you really need to berate the woman with the baby in the stroller because she was taking up too much room on the train? Shouldn’t people with small children be allowed to occasionally block two seats on a mostly empty train?

My Car Hates Me
A “Lincoln Park” (sp?) song came on the radio and, when I went to change the station, I discovered that iDrive had crashed. The car wouldn’t let me change the station or control the volume from the steering wheel or from the dash or from the heads up display. I sat, growing slowly angry, until I realized I hadn’t tried to just mute the whole rotten thing. That worked.
Samba4 and DNS
Does Samba4 require the installation and configuration of BIND9 or does it include it’s own DNS implementation? Reports and HOWTOs conflict. All I know is that smbd does nothing to mah 53.
